The Pharmacy Pickup

The Pharmacy, a restaurant local to Nashville, was looking for a design to go onto a pvc board and into an A-Frame letting drivers know where to pickup their orders. I created this using their branding and style to ensure the new sign matched their existing signage. The client was excited to see the design come together so quickly.

Prince's Banner

Prince's Hot Chicken, a local Nashville restaurant, was seeking a retractable banner to highlight some of their new menu items at the Assembly Food Hall. I created a minimal, but bold design to bring focus to and complement the food. I utilized the colors from their logo and the wood textures in the photos throughout the banner for a unified appearance.

WoofAssist Logo

WoofAssist is a new website email template builder being created to aid dog trainers. The company was in need of a full brand creation from logo to mission statements and typefaces to website design. This was a really exciting project that I had the opportunity to be involved in and continue to work on.

SOMO

SOMO is an amazing organization that gives resources and education to entrepreneurs living in Africa and seeking to create businesses in their low-income neighborhoods. SOMO was looking for a simple and clean design for their yearly strategic plan. I was thrilled to be a part of this project and enjoyed creating the report. I kept the style true to their brand colors and logo theme and they were pleased with the end result.

Chippewa Newsletter

Chippewa Watershed Conservancy (CWC) is an organization protecting the waters and lands of Michigan. The group was looking to have a pamphlet to distribute to their donors as a triannual newsletter for their members. They wanted to highlight the impact the donors' proceeds had on the organization's conservation efforts. I created a six panel brochure and back illustration for the CWC with full page photos of fauna and flora.

ShareCare of Leelanau

ShareCare of LeeLanau, a non-profit group assisting elderly to continue living in their homes, needed a rebranding of their promotional material. I assisted them with a brochure highlighting their new services and pricing model. Their new brochure was minimalistic and easy to read making it accessible to their audience no matter the age.

Kennebunk Free Library

These are a couple designs I came up with for the Wellness Committee sector of the Kennebunk Free Library in Maine. The client was seeking a design that was simple, coastal, and embodied balance for their new committee.  I had a great time working on this project and in the end the client chose to go with a seaside colored rock cairn design. I made these using Adobe Illustrator.

Valentine's Day Concert

The organizer for this underground Valentine's Day music concert came to me with the main cupid image and needed a poster based off around it. The poster had to have a grunge aesthetic and be black and white to keep printing costs down. She also needed various sizes for Instagram, Facebook, and Eventbrite. I was excited for the challenge; it was fun working with a style that I do not typically use. These posters were created with the help of Adobe Illustrator.

Holiday Shirts

These are a couple designs I came up with for a client of Big Frog Custom t-shirts. The client was seeking a design that was simple, festive, and whimsical for some staff shirts for December.  I had a great time working on this project and in the end the client chose to go with the holiday snowman design. I made these using Adobe Illustrator.

Illustration

Let It Be Cover

This illustration cover was for local Nashville singer, Jewell Hawthorne, for her cover of the Beatles. It was fascinating to study and explore the curves and loose shapes of the iris. She requested a minimal and lightly abstract rendition of the flower.

Wonderland Awe

This was an illustration I created for a Small Business Saturday Music Valley Market. I created this artwork with Adobe Illustrator. I enjoyed pushing my minimalist art style with this illustration and seeing how much detail can be created with a limited color palette.

Harvest's Melody

This image was created for a poster advertisement for Sodexo Student Campuses at Western Illinois University Adobe Illustrator. I also entered it into the Creative Quarterly and was accepted into the online gallery in the Graphic Design category.

Speedy Burrito

This local restaurant in Chicago requested a redesign for their website during an increase in site traffic due to the Covid-19 ban on sit-in service. It had not been updated in a long time and was difficult to navigate. I used a simpler website host to allow the owners to easily be able to make changes in the menu and improved the UX/UI. The owners were thrilled with the refinement of their site and their customers will have an easier time accessing the information they seek in an efficient manner.

Deafal

Deafal is a group that brings awareness to sustainable agriculture and empowers small farmers by providing them with the resources and knowledge they need to farm responsibly. I created a booklet for them to print as well as an interactive flipbook online. I created this booklet using Adobe InDesign.

Western Illinois University Music

This began as a website makeover proposal for the Western Illinois University School of Music. With the help of my two fellow designers, we successfully undertook this major project in just a couple weeks. After researching site demographics and statistics we had a clearer idea of which pages received the most traffic and which pages could be removed or condensed. From creating site maps to trimming down the lengthy list of navigation links we simplified this previously cluttered and outdated site. InDesign was predominantly used to create the mock layouts for this website.
