High Definition Circus

Live event photography is spontaneous, fast and beyond thrilling. I had a great time embracing the challenge of the unique low lights and performer's unexpected movements. The shots were tricky, but highly rewarding at the end of the night.

Deep Tropics

I had a great time working at the Deep Tropics festival in Nashville. The vibrant creative sparks were a blast to photograph and the soothing energy of the Deep Culture space was healing. I enjoyed capturing the unique headspace of this event.

Fire Painting with Mari Jane

Before beginning this endeavor, I never imagined that I would be working with fire. I found a thrill in the unpredictability and complexity.

The Pink Show

Each image showcases a stunning performer in exquisite costume and makeup, expertly shot to accentuate their character for the night. With vibrant pink hues and delicate lighting, these photos are both playful and dramatic.

Body Reaction

This session was taken at a music event called Body Reaction in Nashville. The client wished to receive creative and abstract photos. I had a lot of fun playing around with double exposures, angles and bright neon lights.

House of Wow

A DSLR Canon was used for these photographs along with Photoshop.

House of Wow, a breathtaking show at Nashville's Old Glory, invited me to capture shots of their performers. The dark and people-filled space was difficult to work around, but the results were worth the effort.

Carnival of Love

This was a spectacular Valentine's day event held in Nashville at the Vinyl Lounge that I had the honor of photographing.

The lighting was mostly red which was very difficult to shoot with, however I am thrilled with the results and experience!

Pyroglyphics

A DSLR Canon was used for these photographs.

Pyroglyphics, a Nashville performance group, requested some Behind-the- Scenes images of a video that they were creating. These were done at night with only their prop flames as lighting.

The Purple Show

I had to move fast to be prepared for shooting a variety of talents from singing to acting to dancing. It is also very important for me to get photos of the setup and behind-the-scenes crew during events to truly capture the mood.

Festival of Ghouls

This event photography was done for a Halloween event called Festival of Ghouls and was held at the Oz Nashville performance arts center.

Live event photography can be tricky when having to run around and through crowds, but it is also a fun challenge. It is even more fun when the audience is in good spirits and willing to be a part of my photography!

Musician's Corner

These photos were taken at Centennial Park in the summer during a musical event. I really enjoyed the lighting I got to play with during this event. The dark of the night created a perfect backdrop and contrast with the stage lighting.

Light the Nations

A DSLR Canon was used for these.

Light the Nations is a yearly event in Nashville that celebrates culture, creatives and community. This event provided the opportunity to capture many different performers as well as local residents interacting with the art around them.
